Note that the
32/36 Series carbs have different size Main and Air Jets for Primary and
secondary. The primary is the barrel that opens first when you move the throttle
linkage. It is important to know both sizes and what barrel of the carb they are
in. The 32/36 also has different idle jets and you need to know what style idle
jets you have.
See this link for the difference between them. Also refer to the
exploded
diagram for your carb if there are any questions about what part is what.
Print out this form and write down the infomation for the jets that are in your
carb(s). For DCOE, IDF, IDA, etc that does not have Primary and Secondary just
use the blocks for the Primary jets. Be sure and include the "F" number for the
idle jets on DCOE and IDA carbs. An Invaluable tool for learing all the basics
and the technical side of these carbs is the Weber Factory Tuning manual listed
at the bottom of this page...It is a great investment in your working knowledge
of these carbs and will answer many questions about how they work.
