basic parts you will need;

6/4 soow generator cord to the inlet on the side of the house

inlet I like the 50 amp so you can expand on the system

6/4 wire from the inlet to the breaker panel ( measure this distance and add 6 foot )

a 50 amp breaker for the breaker panel

and interlock kit for your breaker panel.
