LETS START WITH HARD WIRED REMOTE START FIRST.
THIS IS THE BASIC OEM HONDA UNIT:
A ROCKER FOR THE POWER ON , PUSH BUTTON FOR THE CALL TO CRANK, AND A PILOT OR ENGINE RUNNING LAMP INDICATOR.
BELOW IS WHERE IT CONNECTS UNDER THE FRONT PANEL BATTERY DOOR ON THE GENERATOR FOR BOTH THE BLUE TOOTH OR THE HARD WIRED REMOTE. REMOVE THE OEM SHORTING PLUG CAREFULLY AND SAVE IT TO REVERT BACK TO OEM! THE GENERATOR WILL NOT RUN AS A STAND ALONE GENERATOR WITH OUT THIS!

ok here is a couple of hand drawings for the socket pin out on the remote start socket

note: pins 2, 5, 6 are no connection on the gen side
upper left color is always the main wire color.
the lower right color is the tracer or stripe over the main color.

yea the plug is expensive on these.
then a basic project box
good high strand count 5 conductor copper 14 gauge wire at 75 feet
and use high strand count 5 conductor copper12 guauge high strand count above 75 feet long.
a push button latching spst switch with led (green)
and a momentary spst push button switch labeled start / stop
pretty basic stuff for some one who makes project items!

When you need to start your Honda EU7000is generator from up to 75 ft. away add the remote starter kit. This kit easily can be added to the Honda EU7000is with the serial number range EEJD-1000001 to EEJD-1299999. So when your power goes out or you want to easily start your generator, use the remote start.
For use with a smartphone with Bluetooth technology or the key fob transmitter to start your generator from up to 75 ft. away (Range is by line of sight and unobstructed view between front of the generator and transmitter may not work if the generator is in a shed or enclosure)
